Glass Art Mural “Underwater” Scene in Kitchen Backsplash

It is remarkable what three dimensional effects you can create by layering hand-cut pieces of colored glass and firing them in a kiln.  This underwater mural was placed by our client as a focal area over the stove in her Florida home.  She specified the type of sea creatures she wanted in the scene such as a jellyfish, clown fish, crab. etc.  We included some shimmery iridized and dichroic glass in the art work.
