About Us

“We love what we do, creating unique and very custom glass products for our clients.  We enjoy the entire process, from the inaugural email or phone call inquiry, to exchanging creative project design ideas, working up a digital or artist rendering,  sharing samples where they are helpful, creating the glass works in our design center while providing periodic updates to our out-of-state clients, and carefully packing them up for shipment or actually performing the installation. We also closely follow our product through to its final installation – be it a kitchen backsplash, wall niche, etc.  We work closely with our client’s installers to assure best installation practices are followed.  The special moment for us is when we receive photos back from our clients showing out glass art work in their setting.

The diversity of our work reflects the diversity and the visions of our clients.

We create FUSED GLASS  AS AN ART FORM”. We work together with our clients and  enjoy their input, while creating glass art that is personal and special for their design needs.

We also love giving back to our community and have an active program of involvement and contributing to the  Allegro Foundation (a Champion for Children with Disabilities),  The Relatives (crisis center for youths), Goodwill, local schools and other wonderful causes.”  Tom and Saundra

We are a Charlotte, North Carolina glass design business, dedicated to providing “glass as an art form”, by creating fused and mosaic glass products to residences, restaurants and commercial businesses. We combine our artistic talents and experienced glass cutting skills to produce custom glass products with applications for kitchen backsplashes, accent tiles, borders, cabinet panels, fireplace surrounds, wall art and murals, furniture, table tops, backlit backsplashes and bar fronts, vases, platters, pendant lights, wall sconces and other lighting applications.

Our clients (homeowners, restaurants and businesses) are located throughout the country with most of our sales leads being derived from internet web searches.  We pack our own product to assure safe delivery.

We place great emphasis on the planning process and devote a lot of effort to the upfront design work – usually producing a digital design or artist rendering of the end product. We enjoy the involvement of our clients, inviting them to come to our design center and see their work in progress. For out of town clients we are happy to provide periodic updates and progress photos.

Following a 25 year career as a Corporate Treasurer, Tom has dedicated the past fifteen years to glass work. The precision of his glass cutting and symmetry from his mathematics background, best display themselves in his intricate mosaic vases containing 1,000’s of hand-cut tiles. In 2006, Tom had the opportunity to organize a group of volunteers to construct a 30,000 hand-cut glass tile mural for Extreme Makeover Home Edition. The wall mural was constructed in the catering kitchen of the family in Logan, Utah. Saundra, working with Ty Pennington, prepared a digital rendering of the sunburst pattern.
