Stained Glass Mosaic Mermaid Mural for Master Bath

Another fun project for our client in Maine.  Saundra first created the artist rendering (above) and then our skilled mosaic artisans set out to transform the drawing into a mosaic masterpiece – combining mirrored glass and stained glass and using a variety of hand cutting techniques to create some interesting mosaic tile shapes.  We also incorporated some fused glass design elements into the art work to add some dimension.  We adhered our work to tile backerboard and grouted at our design center and finished with grout sealer.
