Beginner & Intermediate levels

Agenda:
Introduction

Basics of cutting glass

Layering and behavior of heating glass

Overview of kiln use and preparation

Assembly of projects with various forms of glass (frit, stringers, confetti)

Explanation of further techniques and uses (jewelry, slumping, wall art, etc.)

Students will make their own 6" x 6" tile - additional projects may be completed at an additional cost from 3-5pm.

Materials Required:

Glasses or safety glasses. All other materials, tools, etc. provided by instructor.
