Oyster Kitchen Backsplash in Glass

We created this unique and custom kitchen backsplash mural for our client in Virginia.  The motif is an open oyster shell exposing a white iridescent pearl.  It is 100% glass.  The dimensions are 15″ x 23″.  To develop the texture of the oyster we build up multiple layers of glass and incorporate glass enamels and micas to get just the right coloring.

Our client is thrilled with the results and the oyster mural looks terrific in her kitchen.
