NEW CONSTRUCTION or REMODELING? Consider a mosaic or fused glass FIREPLACE SURROUND. We can work from your design ideas or our design coordinator (SAUNDRA) can make some suggestions. In many of the fireplace surround examples below we applied our mosaic or fused glass panels over an existing surround comprised of brick, marble or granite. We are also able to create digital designs so you can get a sneak preview of your vision. These glass tile fireplace surrounds are truly unique and very much one-of-a-kind. Each surround contains thousands of tiny, hand-cut glass tiles carefully arranged in patterns which wrap seamlessly around the surround area. The glass mosaic tiles are fastened to either 1/4" or 1/2" Hardiboard (non-water permeable and non-combustible) using Bond 527 Glue. Edges are filed and the entire mosaic work is grouted and grout sealer applied. Typically, the surround is comprised of three panels (a top panel and two leg panels) that can be installed by tile setters. Since each of these works is custom, we can work from measurements or a template provided by you.

Surround pricing ranges from $125 - $250 per square foot, depending upon the glass selected, size of tiles and intricacy of design.
