Mosaic
Fireplace Surround in theme of Dogwood branch and Irises
For
this commissioned mosaic project we started with a design
sketch prepared by the client (see photo below). Saundra,
our design coordinator, next translated this design to the
backerboard panels in pencil and our team of mosaic artisans
hand-cut the colorful glass shapes to fit. The panels were
pre-grouted in our design center. We also provided the fused
glass tiles outlining the border of the fire box.
